They are worn and have almost no visual capability due to degradation of of reticle adhesive and debris accumulation on interior surfaces. I restore and refurbish to as close to like new as possible, including original markings and stencils.

There are so many satellites in orbit now what I do with mine is just park it on a north/south or east/west view and wait.

Many people order these from other sellers and are disappointed because of poor condition, poor performance, ect.
This is because the reticle adhesive has turned brown and flaky
I go into the actual intensifier tube, remove the reticle, clean it, and also clean the back of the intensifier tube, then use modern optical adhesives to reattach the reticle.
The result is a view just like it came fresh off the assembly line.
I totally revamp the scope to as close to like new as possible, including, cleaning reticles and intensifier tube surfaces, checking optics and restoring exterior of both case and scope, including all tags and original stencils.

I also include the US Army original maintenance manual.

Note: The AN/TVS-2 is a large unit, measures in around 24.5" x 6.4" x 8" (Inches)

Olive Drab. I also repair any locks, ect. that are damaged. Give that PVS-2 you have the case it deserves. Due to ordering materials and parts, I have a 7 day turnaround period. I get the surplus case, totally restore it to like new(any dents-always minor-are left because they were almost always acquired on the battlefield or in service) and then ship it to you UPS Ground-unless you need it sooner-higher rates apply.
